Modules from SCHOTT Solar have passed the salt spray corrosion test in accordance with IEC 61701, an achievement certified by standards organisation TÜV Rheinland. TÜV certification is a voluntary quality monitoring exercise which provides independent confirmation of the premium quality, which characterises SCHOTT Solar modules even in tough environmental and weather conditions, such as the salty air found in coastal regions. December 5, 2011 | SCHOTT Solar AG, the parent company of SCHOTT Solar PV, Inc., reported today an increase in sales of photovoltaic modules for the fourth consecutive year. For its fiscal year ending September 30, 2011, that percentage of growth was in the double digits, despite a rather difficult market environment.
