Öko-Test has been testing products in independent laboratories and under consumer relevant viewpoints for 25 years. The German consumer magazine contains information concerning various areas of daily life and among other things also about “Building and Living”.
The consumer magazine Öko-Test (Edition 4/2010) awarded the photovoltaic modules from SCHOTT Solar with the distinction “Very Good”. The magazine, along with the testing laboratory of another journal called Photon, tested the performance and possible weaknesses of 15 monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar modules from both German and international manufacturers.
The polycrystalline solar module SCHOTT POLY 220 achieved an outstanding score in this test. With respect to the results of both “performance testing” and “defects”, this module was accredited with being “Very Good”.
The details of the test and all results will be published in the upcoming edition of Öko-Test and on the Internet under the German website
