Test victory for SCHOTT PROTECT POLY 290 - TÜV Rheinland confirms high quality standards

The PV+Test by TÜV Rheinland and Solarpraxis AG (publishers of the magazines photovoltaik and pv magazine) confirms that the SCHOTT PROTECT™ POLY 290 module is ‘excellent’.

Together with the PV+Test, TÜV Rheinland and Solarpraxis AG have jointly developed an independent quality certification mark which demands the highest standards. In issue 02/2011 of photovoltaik eight types of photovoltaic modules from manufacturers were tested and assessed against all the relevant quality criteria.

In addition to performance, the test criteria for example, the length of the working lives of the modules. The double glass module SCHOTT PROTECT™ POLY 290 achieved the highest marks in each of the categories ‘overall performance parameters’ and ‘length of working life’ and secured itself an overall victory.

SCHOTT PROTECT™ POLY 185 is a smaller and lighter alternative to the SCHOTT PROTECT™ POLY 290 which is otherwise identical in construction.
