Anti-reflection layer
The transparent layer of a solar cell, having a thickness of only a few millionth millimeters and minimizing reflection loss. The light that is reflected from the surface of a solar cell cannot be absorbed and does, therefore, not contribute to power generation. The anti-reflection layer enhances light efficiency (degree of efficiency).
