Öko-Test has been testing products in independent laboratories and under consumer relevant viewpoints for 25 years. The German consumer magazine contains information concerning various areas of daily life, including building and housing.
Öko-Test (Edition 4/2010) awarded photovoltaic modules from SCHOTT Solar with the distinction “Excellent”. The magazine, along with the testing laboratory of another journal called Photon, tested the performance and possible weaknesses of 15 monocrystalline and polycrystalline solar modules from both German and international manufacturers.
The polycrystalline SCHOTT Solar module SCHOTT PERFORM™ POLY 220 achieved an outstanding score on this test. With respect to the results of both “performance testing” and “defects”, this module was accredited with being “Excellent”.
